Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across diverse, acute care settings.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Shift is night, 36 hours weekly on Medical Unit 2, and OhioHealth emphasizes safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents responses to care.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - Handles day-to-day nursing operations within the unit.

Education

BSN required at 5 years of employment
