Job summary

Aultman Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Off Shift Coordinator to provide direct patient care and coordinate hospital activities across departments during off-shift hours. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, maintaining nursing standards within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, and documentation in the EMR, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely communication.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio (active).
• BSN preferred; ADN considered if compensating experience.
• Maintain AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS with RQI training.
• NRP and/or TNCC for department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate hospital activities during off-shift hours.
• Document care plans, assessments, and outcomes in the EMR system.
• Administer medications safely per the five rights and monitor responses.
• Collaborate with Nursing Manager On-Call and other departments.
• Coordinate staffing, bed management and routine ward rounds.
• Respond to codes and assist with education/competency validation.
