Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in Texas or a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor effects and side-effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families and/or caregivers.
• Delegate to other care providers as appropriate to manage the clinical situation.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred

1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
