Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors effectiveness and side-effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication and care given; educates patients and families.
