Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (7pm–7:30am) on a 36-hour week schedule in Illinois. The nurse will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to promote safety and quality outcomes.

An ADN is required with BSN preferred; active RN license in the state and CPR/BLS within 90 days are mandatory. Additional certifications may be required by units.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Participates in department performance improvement activities.
• Escalates patient safety concerns through chain of command.
