Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Marysville, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for PACU in a contract, in-office role with night shifts, 40 hours weekly. Experience with EPIC is required and backfill arrangements are in place to cover post-anesthesia recovery duties.

The unit operates with 7 pre-op beds, 8 PACU beds, and a 3-bed holding area, requiring strong critical-care skills, teamwork, and adherence to policy in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required; dysrhythmia competency during orientation.
• PALS certification within 1 year of hire; IV sedation within 6 months.
• Facility-specific certifications (BLS, ACLS) required.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop plans of care, evaluate effectiveness using nursing process.
• Modify care plans considering age-specific, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with disciplines to formulate comprehensive care plans.
• Apply knowledge of illnesses and treatments to patient care.
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning needs.
• Respond to emergencies following established protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and care for all patients.

Education

RN licensure in CA
