Talented Medical Solutions in Marysville, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU to care for patients recovering from anesthesia. This in-office role supports postoperative care in a hospital or ambulatory setting with Epic EMR documentation.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years PACU/ICU/ED perioperative experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, contract position.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–2 years PACU/ICU/ED or perioperative nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification if required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor PACU patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (airway, hemodynamics, pain, neuro status).
• Recognize condition changes and initiate interventions.
• Administer meds, IV fluids, and blood products per orders.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and follow-up.
• Document assessments and outcomes in Epic EMR.
• Maintain compliance with policies, infection prevention, safety, and regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education.
