Qualifications

• RN license with state board certification.
• ACLS/PALS certifications or equivalent.
• PACU experience with vitals monitoring and pain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality PACU nursing care to post-anesthesia patients on-site.
• Monitor vitals, manage pain, and identify complications for early intervention.
• Coordinate with surgical team for smooth handoffs and discharge planning.
• Document patient status and care activities in EMR.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols in post-anesthesia care.
• Meet performance metrics and contribute to pipeline-based target tracking.
• Triaging and elevating care when needed.
• Educate patients and families about recovery expectations.
