Job summary

Rideout Health in Marysville, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for an in-office evening shift. The RN will assume accountability for a group of patients per shift, prescribe nursing care based on the medical plan, and collaborate with physicians and the health-care team to coordinate care across age groups.

The role requires a BSN (preferred), CA RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS (with additional unit-specific credentials where required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required or preferred.
• RN licensure in California required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required; IV Sedation competency within 6 months where applicable.
• PALS for certain units; Neonatal and fetal monitoring credentials may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor assigned patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and health-care team to implement the plan of care.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Administer medications and IV therapies following policy and safety protocols.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to emergencies per established protocols and ensure patient safety.
