Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking a qualified RN for a night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) in the 4 West Tower Complex Medical Care unit, delivering care to adults and geriatrics across orthopaedic, neurosurgery and trauma services.

You will join a dedicated team, implement care plans, monitor patients, coordinate discharges, and educate families while administering medications per protocol.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing and RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• At least 1 year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol.
