Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking an RN for night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) in a 59-bed General Medicine/Geriatric unit. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, monitor patients, and educate families with culturally sensitive materials.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or BSN, RN license, BLS certification, and have 1 year acute care RN experience or military RN experience. Relocation and loan repayment programs may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol.
