Job summary

Qualifications

• Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program.
• Current LA RN licensure.
• ILCOR Ochsner/AHA/Red Cross BLS course with manikin check-off.
• ALS encouraged.
• Basic EKG knowledge encouraged within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Apply nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and nursing standards.
