Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 7pm–7am shift. This full‑time role (36 hours/week) coordinates clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients and ensures quality patient care.

The RN will supervise LPNs, Unit Assistants and CNAs, and will follow hospital policies, nursing standards and the State Nurse Practice Act to support department and hospital goals.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Board Certified Nursing Program.
• Current LA RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification through ILCOR or approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients using the nursing process.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants and CNAs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards and State Nurse Practice Act.
