Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated RN Float for day shift at our Tampa Bay campuses. The role covers inpatient units across MCC and MMH, requiring critical thinking, oncology expertise, and strong patient education skills.

The RN will assess, plan, and evaluate care using the nursing process, participate in evidence-based improvement activities, and maintain professional development in line with state licensure and institutional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Master's Degree preferred for advanced practice or leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
