Ideal candidates hold a Florida RN license (or multi-state privileges) with BLS; ACLS is required for certain areas. The Float Pool ensures coverage for multiple inpatient units to maintain continuous, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing required
• RN licensure in the State of Florida or multi-state privilege required
• ACLS/BLS certifications as specified by unit
• Experience in ICU and oncology settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Provides patient and family education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities within the unit.
• Engages in professional development per nursing standards and regulatory requirements
