Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Clinic Float Registered Nurse for the Day Shift to cover outpatient oncology clinics as needed. The Float RN will deliver individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families, following hospital guidelines and ANA ethics.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or an ADN with 1 year of relevant experience, FL RN license or multi-state privilege, and BLS/ACLS credentials. This role offers a variable schedule with 48 hours per pay period and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science of Nursing required.
• In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• RN current licensure in the State of Florida or a valid Multi-State privilege to practice in FL.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on nursing standards and requirements.
