Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery Unit 1 on the night shift. You will provide general nursing care across the continuum of care in a fast-paced obstetric setting and work within a 24/7/365 operation.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care, and collaborates with licensed staff and UAPs to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio and/or multi-state compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree required at least 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and document health status.
• Plan and implement nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans as needed.
• Lead in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Support unit operations and teamwork on the Labor and Delivery Unit 1.
