SNF Rehab & Healthcare is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for the 7pm to 7am shift in New Jersey. Salary ranges from $50k to $52k per year, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off. Overtime is available and same-day pay is offered.

The role focuses on coordinating resident care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The supervisor will verify staffing, oversee care plans, conduct rounds, manage emergencies, and participate in quality

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of medications, dosage and expected results.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise nursing functions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to share information on resident care and conditions.
• Makes rounds to assess residents, especially critically ill.
• Ensures the nursing care plan is followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes and direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing staff.
• Responds to emergencies throughout the shift.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Checks building security during evening and night hours.
• Reviews incident and investigative reports.
• Monitors meal service and nutritional adequacy.
• Contributes to Quality Improvement Program implementation.
• Ensures high quality, compassionate resident care.
