Job summary

Apploi is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor to lead and coordinate total resident care from 7pm to 7am in our New Jersey facility. You will supervise nursing units, ensure adherence to nursing standards, and support staff through scheduling, training, and problem-solving.

The role requires an active RN license, long-term care supervisory experience, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed.
• Experience in the nursing field is required.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution as needed.
• Collaborates with charge nurses to exchange information regarding resident care and conditions.
• Makes rounds to assess resident condition, giving attention to critically ill residents.
• Ensures that each resident's care plan is followed.
• Performs medication passes and/or direct resident care as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing personnel.
• Responds to emergencies during the shift.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Ensures building security during evening/night hours.
• Reviews incident and investigation reports for accuracy.
• Monitors meal service for resident satisfaction and nutrition.
• Assists in development and implementation of Quality Improvement programs.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality compassionate care.
• Performs other duties as requested.
