Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center Medical ICU in Charlotte is seeking an experienced RN for full-time night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays. The role focuses on high-acuity critical care, patient monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in Progressive Care or ICU and 2+ years in Med/Surg. You will provide expert nursing care in a dynamic environment and contribute to excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1+ year of Progressive Care or ICU experience preferred.
• 2+ years Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical ICU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement care.
• Assist with intubations and bedside procedures; titrate vasoactive medications.
• Coordinate off-unit procedures and manage life-support therapies as needed.
