Job summary

UF Health Leesburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care unit to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill patients. The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment within a collaborative team of physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

You will provide assessments, coordinate care plans, administer medications, and participate in family education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients and develop individualized plans of care.
• Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, respiratory function, and other critical patient indicators.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards of practice.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge planning.
