Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is seeking an RN for the Neuro Pre/Post Critical Care unit on the sixth floor of the Neuro Building at the Main Campus. You will provide direct nursing care to patients in a 36-bed unit, from admission to discharge, collaborating with families and care teams.

Shift is nights, 7:00pm to 7:30am. The role offers growth opportunities and access to professional development resources, including ongoing education and courses through the Cleveland Clinic

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• One year of acute care RN experience OR military RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the Neuro Pre/Post Critical Care unit.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
