Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the 1MSU Medical Specialty unit to provide inpatient care with a focus on medical and psychiatric coordination. Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and administer medications per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care and ensure clear communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
