Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother Baby unit. This FT night shift (7pm-7am) role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, evidence-based environment.

The RN works within an interdisciplinary team, supported by Wellstar’s governance model and practices to ensure safety, culture, and continuous improvement. Requires GA RN license and BLS; neonatal certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia (Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• NRP or NALS neonatal resuscitation certification
• RN license: single-state or multi-state (compact)

Responsabilités

• Performs the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice to provide individualized care.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Practices using current clinical standards and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
• Participates in performance improvement and governance activities across the care continuum.
• Mentors and precepts other nurses to ensure a capable workforce.
