Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and has experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year M/B experience preferred
• Valid RN License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire
• NRP required within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and teamwork to achieve outcomes
• Coordinate patient/family involvement in care and discharge planning
• Communicate plan of care with the health care team and documents appropriately
• Participate in improving patient care services and unit policies
• Provide input to leadership on unit needs and participate in committees
