Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, UT is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby Unit. You will provide individualized postpartum and newborn care, developing care plans, and coordinating with physicians to monitor fetal status and diagnostic results.

Ideal candidates will have a BSN, at least one year of postpartum/newborn experience, and active BLS/NRP certifications; STABLE must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifikationen

• Current State of Utah or Compact RN license.
• BLS or BCLS certification within 7 days of hire.
• ST.A.B.L.L.E. certification – must obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain certification.
• NRP and Fetal Monitoring certification preferred; must obtain NRP within 90 days from hire and maintain certification.
• One or more years of recent Postpartum/Newborn Nursery experience.
• BSN required.

Aufgaben

• Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care in the Postpartum/Couplet setting.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all areas of Maternal Child health.
• Assist physicians with procedures in Postpartum care and the Newborn Nursery.
• Participate in department process improvement activities.
• Maintain composure and professionalism, especially under pressure.
