Job summary

Lone Peak Hospital, Inc. in Draper, Utah, is seeking a skilled RN for the Mother Baby Unit on a part-time night shift. You will plan and provide individualized postpartum care and newborn assessment.

You will respond to changes in condition, document accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the care team. BLS, STABLE, NRP, and postpartum experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State of Utah or Compact Registered Nurse License.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/BCLS and certification within 7 days of hire.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification – obtain within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
• NRP certification within 90 days from date of hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition including fetal monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Perform nursing duties in the continuum of care for Maternal Child health.
• Assist physicians with postpartum and newborn nursery procedures and care.
• Participate in department process improvement activities.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
