Job summary

Washington Regional MedSurg in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) in our Med/Surg unit.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and document care, coordinate with teams, and supervise care provided by nursing assistants and students. Arkansas RN license and CPR are required; open to new grads and experienced nurses. Expect 80% walking/standing and exposure to a clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Arkansas RN license & CPR, required.
• Open to both new graduate nurses and experienced nurses.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive and accurate patient assessment using evidence-based assessment tools.
• Provide nursing care according to the plan and perform clinical skills competently and safely.
• Identify changes in patient condition and report to appropriate providers.
• Monitor the care that patients receive and ensure quality documentation.
• Maintain patients' medical records with complete and accurate documentation.
• Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent.
• Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes in collaboration with patient and health care team.
