Job summary

Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse for Critical Care on the 7pm-7am shift. The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients, including assessment, planning, and documentation.

You will supervise nursing assistants and support staff, participate in patient education, and collaborate with the care team to achieve safety and quality goals. Arkansas license and CPR required; ACLS/TNCC within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Arkansas RN license & CPR required.
• ACLS within 90 days, required. TNCC within 12 months, required.
• New graduate nurses and experienced nurses welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive and accurate patient assessment using evidence-based assessment tools.
• Provide nursing care according to plan and undertake clinical practice skills safely.
• Identify changes in patient condition and report to appropriate providers.
• Monitor the care that patients receive and ensure quality documentation.
• Maintain patients’ medical records through complete and accurate documentation.
• Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent.
• Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes with the health care team.
