Job summary

Talent Healthcare Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Unit in Vinita, Oklahoma. This permanent, full-time position covers nights 7 PM–7 AM (2 x12).

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per hospital standards, document processes, and support discharge planning. The role requires up to six months of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• Up to six months of related experience.
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail as required in examination of clinical and numerical data.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients, considering patient age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Document steps of the nursing process using proper medical terminology, addressing problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitate patient discharge through timely and appropriate referrals and utilization of patient education resources.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and support unit/hospital goals through performance improvement and educational activities.
