Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Vinita, Oklahoma is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse for the Renaissance Psychiatric Unit on the Vinita Campus. This full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) includes rotating weekends and involves applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital standards.

The RN will document care, coordinate discharge planning, and work with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have completed nursing education approved by a state board and hold a nursing diploma or degree.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.
• 0–6 months related nursing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to organize and prioritize care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Document steps of the nursing process and use proper medical terminology.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate referrals and patient education.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to support patient goals.
