Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. – Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah seeks a part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit.

The RN assesses patients, plans and coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team, and implements interventions while ensuring documentation and compliance with licensure standards. Minimum qualifications include an active RN license, BLS, and BSN within four years of hire; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start date.
• BSN within four years if experience is <12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and information from interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized care plan with patient/family involvement.
• Implement: Directs care via interdisciplinary team, delegates as needed and coordinates resources.
• Evaluate: Evaluates outcomes and revises plan of care.
• Professionalism: Adheres to legal, regulatory standards and documents accurately.
