Job summary

Banner Health in Torrington, Wyoming seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit to work nights from 6:00pm to 6:30am. The role requires cross-training to Labor and Delivery within 6–12 months and offers a competitive Total Rewards package, including a $20,000 hire-on bonus and $20,000 relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require minimum one year in acute care.
• Cross-trains to Labor and Delivery within 6–12 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, based on assessment data and medical plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination and supervision of staff.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
