Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Riverton, WY is hiring a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical, full-time night shifts. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate care in an acute care hospital, collaborating with the care team and families to achieve optimal outcomes.

Includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus and opportunities to work with a dedicated team across two Fremont County hospitals. Experience in M/S nursing and BSN advancement are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in the state or compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CPI per facility policy
• Minimum 6 months Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per orders
• Document care, assessments, and education in a timely manner
• Provide direct patient care including ADLs, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the team
• Collaborate on discharge planning and referrals
• Support patients and families emotionally and psychosocially
