Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit on a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with the care team, and adhering to standards of practice to ensure outstanding patient experiences.

You will assess patients, perform procedures, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN required by state; licensed in TX or compact licensure
• 1 year acute care experience preferred
• Nursing supervision and patient safety focus

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response; document care in medical records.
• Provide timely responses to patient needs and educate patients and families.
• Advocate for patients and translate medical information for families.
