Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg – Acute Care unit. This full-time night-shift position offers a competitive compensation package and exposure to a busy medical-surgical environment.

The role requires current RN license, BLS/ACLS, and acute care experience. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is available for qualified candidates, with interview-based eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostics.
• Educate patient and family and supervise nursing staff as required.
