Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit. This full-time position offers day and night shifts with a 3 x 12-hour schedule and a competitive pay range.

New graduates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and experienced RNs may receive up to $20,000 with 2+ years of RN experience. Location includes Bridgton, Rumford, and the main campus in Lewiston area.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in Medical-Surgical Unit.
• Direct patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians.
