Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit on nights. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold safety and quality standards.

Active RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 30 days are required; Acute Care experience and BSN are preferred. A sign-on bonus and competitive benefits package are offered, with CMH supporting professional development within the Prime

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days and maintain current preferred.
• Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN or higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in the patient’s condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
