Job summary

Banner Health is hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit in Fort Collins on the full-time night shift. The role covers a mixed acuity unit with opportunities to expand clinical expertise and participate in a growing hospital team.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and educate families. This role requires Colorado RN licensure and BLS, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Colorado (or compact)
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on a mixed acuity Med/Surg unit
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and standards
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
