MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night float position in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry/float pool. The RN provides care across units including ED, ICU, and PACU as needed, following the Watson Model of Care and 12-hour shifts.

Requirements include California RN license, 12 months Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care, BLS/ACLS, and Spanish language skills preferred. Bachelors preferred; EMR experience is a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Sciences degree preferred; Associate in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 12 months of clinical nursing experience; Med/Surg/Telemetry or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Basic EKG competence; ACLS/BLS certifications preferred.

Mansioni

• Float as needed throughout the hospital to provide care for Medical‑Surgical Telemetry patients.
• Provide care in inpatient Medical‑Surgical Telemetry units, ED, ICU or PACU as overflow demand requires.
• Organize, plan, direct, coordinate and provide high-quality, patient/family-centered care for a defined group of patients.
