Job summary

Advocate Health Navicent The Medical Center’s 3 East Medical-Surgical unit is seeking a registered nurse for night shifts. The 20-bed unit cares for adults with acute and chronic conditions, including telemetry monitoring, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.

Shift is 7pm–7am on a rotating weekend/holiday schedule. Applicants must complete an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and possess BLS through the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and effective communication to create a safe patient environment and high-quality outcomes.
