Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Float for a Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool in Neptune, NJ. This part-time night role focuses on comprehensive patient care, data collection, assessments, and care planning within a dynamic float pool.

Responsibilities include recognizing status changes, developing and coordinating care plans, communicating with the health care team and patient/family, and maintaining timely documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year Med/Surg/Tele RN experience required.
• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data related to the patient's health.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Identify status changes and adjust care plans as needed.
• Develop and implement a care plan with interventions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team and communicate with patient/family.
• Document assessments and care activities in the EHR in real time.
