Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO seeks a Registered Nurse for Med Surg General Surgery 3W to provide compassionate patient care nights 7:00pm–7:00am. Full-time, 36 hours weekly, with an emphasis on safety and coordination with the care team.

The role requires RN licensure in Missouri or compact, BSN preferred, BLS, and hospital experience. Sign-on bonuses of $10,000 for new grads and $20,000 for experienced RNs are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
