Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg General Surgery 3W unit. The role features a full-time night schedule (7:00pm–7:00am) with a 36-hour work week, located at 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128.

Sign-on bonuses are available: $10,000 for new graduates and $20,000 for RNs with 1+ years of experience. Candidates must hold Missouri RN licensure or compact licensure and have BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and eligible for RN licensure in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Experience preferred but not always required depending on unit.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Protects patient rights and confidentiality of information.
