Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg General Surgery on 3W. This full-time role uses the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate care with teams, and protect patient rights and confidentiality.

Schedule is nights 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, 36 hours per week. New graduates may earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus; experienced RNs may qualify for a $20,000 sign-on. Missouri RN licensure and BLS are required, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active state RN licensure in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Prior hospital experience preferred for the Med Surg/General Surgery unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates with other departments to support patient outcomes.
• Protects patient rights and confidentiality per Mercy standards.
