AdventHealth in Land O' Lakes, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient care in a full-time role. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, education, and teamwork across departments within a safety-conscious hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Florida.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS/CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Monitor and improve outcomes through evaluation of care plans.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care among the healthcare team.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and professional development.
• Respond promptly to code situations with necessary interventions.
