Job summary

Berger Health System in Mansfield is seeking a Part-time Staff RN for the Med Surg/Observation unit. The night shift (7p–7a) requires 24 hours per week with every-other-weekend coverage and eligibility for weekend and shift differentials.

The RN will provide general nursing care across the continuum, assess patients, and coordinate with the care team. Minimum qualifications include active RN license in Ohio and BLS; BSN is preferred after five years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license Ohio or multi-state compact in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients.
• Performs initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Documents and communicates patient care plans and outcomes.
• Leads and participates in process improvement to enhance quality and safety.
• Operates within High Reliability Organization standards to ensure safety and efficiency.

Education

Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
