Job summary

Berger Health System in Mansfield, OH is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Medical Unit 3. This 24-hour per week role covers day shifts with every-other-weekend duties, operating in a 24/7/365 department structure.

The RN provides general nursing care, assesses patients, plans and implements care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and participates in process improvements while adhering to Ohio Nurse Practice Act and BLS requirements. BSN preferred after 5 years of practice.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and monitor patients’ health status.
• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care based on outcomes.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with the care team.
• Lead or participate in process improvement activities.
• Follow department policies and nursing care standards.
