Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas River Park in McMinnville, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg on a full-time night shift. You will implement and monitor patient care plans focusing on safety and outcomes, lead across disciplines, assess and communicate changes in patient conditions, and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Qualifications include Tennessee RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• RN licensure from Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor comprehensive patient care plans with a focus on safety and outcomes.
• Serve as the primary lead across disciplines to ensure coordinated care.
• Assess and communicate changes in patient conditions to the medical team in real-time.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders while maintaining clinical protocol.
• Coordinate discharge planning to ensure safe transitions home.
