ScionHealth in Livingston, TN is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse for MedSurg during nights. This role requires an RN with MedSurg experience who can provide comprehensive patient care in a safe environment with supportive leadership and opportunities for growth.

The nurse will document care, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the care team across disciplines. BLS is required on hire; ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and TN license (or compact) are needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN program, required.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross certification.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• TN RN license or compact state license.

Responsabilités

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, assessments, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Must complete all education assigned and required for the position, including classroom and online courses.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
